About ISKCON Guwahati
The Sri Sri Rukmini Krishna Mandir is located in the heart of Guwahati city on the hilltop of South Sarania, Ulubari. The temple provides a wonderful view of the city with its gorgeous white edifice in the background. Being one of the first major contemporary Krishna temples in Guwahati, it has been supporting socially conscious programs since 1983. This temple includes teaching young people Vedic life lessons, distributing sanctified food to the general public, and promoting transcendental Vedic literature.
