ISKCON Amravati, also known as Sri Rukmini Dwarkadhish Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Rukmini, located in Saraswati Colony, Rathi Nagar, It was from Kuandanyapur Dham, Lord Krishna had kidnapped Srimati Rukmini Mata 5000 years ago and had brought her to Amravati in the ancient Ambadevi temple. The temple was inaugurated by His Holiness Lokanath Swami Maharaj, and the deities of Shri Shri Rukmini Dwarkadhish were installed on November 19, 2000. Amaravati city has a special connection with Lord Krishna because it’s just 44 kilometres from Kuandanyapur Dham, which is birth birthplace of Srimati Rukhmini Mata.
