About Jagannath Temple
The Jagannath Temple was built by the Odia community of the city of Hyderabad, The temple is located near Banjara hills and is famous for its Rathyatra festival. Jagannath means Lord of the Universe. The temple which was constructed in 2009 recently lies in the Center of Hyderabad City. The temple is constructed in red stone, besides the main deity, the temple has smaller shrines dedicated to Lakshmi, Shiva, Ganesha, Hanuman and Navagraha.
