About Jeen Mata Temple

The jeen mata temple is located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India. This temple is dedicated to Jeen devi, she is considered an incarnation of Goddess Durga. According to local legend, Jeen Mata was originally a Rajput girl named Jeevan who meditated at Kajal Shikhar in the Aravalli hills in devotion to Goddess Jayanthi, later becoming revered as Jeen Mata. The marble and limestone temple, believed to date back to the 8th century, attracts thousands of pilgrims, especially during Chaitra and Ashvin Navratri.

There are big fairs held during navratri fesitval. The architecture of the temple features elaborate carvings and beautiful natural settings. The temple is encircled by hills and introspection. Every devotee prays at Jeen Mata Temple for blessings for a successful life, power and safety.
