The jeen mata temple is located in Sikar district of Rajsthan, India. This temple us dedicated to Jeen devi, she is considered as incarnation of Goddess Durga. According to local legend, Jeen Mata was originally a Rajput girl named Jeevan who meditated at Kajal Shikhar in the Aravalli hills in devotion to Goddess Jayanthi, later becoming revered as Jeen Mata. The marble and limestone temple, believed to date back to the 8th century, attracts thousands of pilgrims, especially during Chaitra and Ashvin Navratri.
