Joteshwar Temple is a major and spiritual pilgrimage site located in Gotegaon in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh. This holy temple is dedicated to Raj Rajeshwari Tripura Sundari who is a worshiped form of Goddess Durga. This temple is known for its architecture, spiritual significance, grandeur and calm atmosphere. The construction of this temple was started in 1965 and it took about 17 years to build it. This temple is situated at a height of about 225 feet. And the design of this temple reflects the Rajasthani architectural style, which includes intricate nakshi work and a golden urn on top of the peak. To enhance the beauty of this temple, a lotus shape has been created on the dome of the temple. A rare 10-armed idol of Lord Ganesha has also been established in this temple. And the nakshi of 64 Yoginis has also been made on the walls of the temple. A grand fair is organized on the day of Basant Panchami, the main festival of this temple. And this fair lasts for 7 days and a big celebration is organized in it.
