About Kailash Mansarovar - Tibet
Kailash Mansarovar is one of the most sacred pilgrimage places in the world, located in Tibet (China). Mount Kailash is believed to be the divine home of Lord Shiva and is holy for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers. Nearby Mansarovar Lake is considered very pure, and bathing in it is believed to wash away sins and bring spiritual peace. Pilgrims do Kailash Parikrama (circumambulation) as an act of devotion. The place is surrounded by high mountains and has a deep spiritual and peaceful atmosphere.
