108 Shiva Temple in Kalna, also known as Nav Kailash Temple, is located in the East Burdwan district of West Bengal. This temple was built in 1809 by Maharaja Tej Chandra Bahadur. This temple was built in 1809 AD by King Tej Chandra Bahadur (son of King Krishnachandra). It was built in the joy of coming under the control of Bishnupur state. It is also called Nav Kailash because 108 Shivlingas are installed here which are considered to be the symbol of Mount Kailash. This place is very sacred and revered for Shiva devotees. It is believed that worshiping in 108 Shiva temples here simultaneously leads to special virtue. The temple celebrates 3 main festivals, the first being Mahashivratri, the second being every Monday of Shravan month and the last being Pradosh Vrat. A large number of devotees come here.
