The Karmanghat Hanuman Temple is located in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman who is worshipped in the form of Dhyana Anjaneya. The was built in the year 1198 C.E. by the Kakatiya king Prola II. It is believed that when the king went hunting he was resting under the tree. The king heard a voice chanting Lord Ram's name. By following the voice the King found a stone idol of Lord Hanuman in a sitting posture and he paid his respects. The king then returned to his capital and during the night is said that Lord Hanuman had appeared in his dream and asked the King to construct a temple at the place. The best time to visit this temple is during Hanuman Jayanti and Rama Navami.
