Krishna Mandir
About Krishna Mandir
Krishna Mandir is situated in the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is believed that the temple was built by King Narsing Malla. The Krishna temple was built in the Sikhara style. Krishna is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu; hence, images of Lord Vishnu and his mount, Garud, are found throughout the temple. Lord Vishnu's 10 avtars are also set on the outside face of the ground-level gallery. Janmashtami is the major festival that is celebrated at the Krishna Mandir.
