Maha Parashakthi Pachaiamman Kavel Murugan Temple is located in Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu state. This temple is especially famous for the worship of Lord Murugan, Goddess Pachaiamman and Maha Parashakthi. The main deities of the temple are a combination of three main deities, namely 1. Maha Parashakthi in which this goddess is considered to be a form of Shakti, who is the creator and protector of the whole universe. 2. Pachaiamman in which this goddess is considered to be a form of Shakti, who is especially considered to be the protector of nature and forests. 3. Kavel Murugan Lord Murugan, also known as Lord Kartikeya, is a highly revered deity in South India. His weapon, "Vel" (splash) is a symbol of power. The worship of Lord Murugan and Goddess Pachaiamman is of special importance in Maha Parashakthi Pachaiamman Kavel Murugan Temple.
