The Mandapalli Shaneeswaralayam Temple is located in the city of East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Shani Dev. It is believed that the temple is at the same place where Shani dev performed penance and worshipped Lord Shiva here to atone for his sins of killing the demons Aswadha and Pippala. He also installed a linga of Lord Shiva here, which is made of black stone.
