The Mehandipur Balaji Temple is located on the border of the Karauli and Dausa districts in the state of Rajasthan and is dedicated to the deity Lord Hanuman Ji. The special thing about this temple is that here Hanuman ji is worshipped in his childhood form. The belief of this temple is that ghosts run away from coming here and Hanuman Ji fulfils every wish of the devotees. At the same time, to remove the evil spirit from the body, people tie themselves on the railing outside the temple and you can see the pandits here chanting mantras and removing ghosts using the holy water coming out of the idol of Balaji. Because of all these things, many strict rules have been made in this temple. If you want to visit this temple, then you will have to eat vegetarian food for a week. Along with this, you cannot eat bring back or distribute the Prasad found in the temple. You have to throw the Prasad there and move away from it without looking back. Built around the 11th century, the temple originally stood in a forest, which later developed into a small village. Today, the temple is situated between two small hills. The idol of Lord Hanuman (Balaji) is naturally formed from the stones of the hill and the rest of the temple was built around it.
