Nidhivan
About Nidhivan
Nidhivan is a sacred forest of Vrindavan which is famous for the pastimes of Radha and Krishna. It is believed that even today Radha and Krishna perform Raas here at night, so entry into Nidhivan is prohibited at night. Tulsi trees are found in pairs in Nidhivan and their stems are entangled with each other. There is also a temple called Rang Mahal where Radha and Krishna are believed to rest. Nidhivan is related to the main god of Hinduism, Shri Krishna. This place is very important especially for Krishna devotees. It is said that every night Shri Krishna and Radha along with their gopis perform Raasleela here. The trees and environment present at this place are such that it is present as the place of Raasleela in person. It is said that Lord Shri Krishna and his gopis perform Raasleela every night in Nidhivan. This place looks calm and ordinary during the day, but at night it becomes mysteriously alive. At night a characteristic sound comes from the trees, and many devotees say that they feel the presence of Krishna and Radha here.
