The original idol of the Pazhavangadi Ganapathy Temple is a small idol of Lord Ganesh, the Idol is in the seating position with the right leg folded. This magnificent Ganpati Temple is famous for its remarkable jet-black colour, a unique colour for Indian temples and its unusual Ganesh statue.
