The pumdikot shiva statue is a major religious and tourist landmark located on a hilltop in pumdikot, near Pokhara, Nepal. the statue of lord shiva itself stands 51 feet tall and situated atop a white stupa, bringing the total height of the structure to 108 feet. the temple complex is surrounded by 108 shiv lings and also houses the biggest shivas damaru in asia. the design is heavily emphasizes on the sacred number 108 in Hinduism. there is 108 shiv lings, 108 steps and total height including the base is often cited as reaching 108 feet. the statue of lord shiv is crafted on separate parts and assembled on the site. it represents lord shiv in meditative  seated posture. maha shivratri is the most important festival celebrated here, known as the great night of shiva thousands of devotee from Nepal and india visit this place. bol bam is also famous festival celebrated here in which during the shrawan month Devotees, often dressed in saffron, carry sacred water (Kanwar) to offer to Lord Shiva. haritalika teej is a major festival for hindu women, who visits the statue to pray for the well-being of their husbands or to find a spouse like lord shiva.
