Salasar Balaji Temple Akola

About Salasar Balaji Temple Akola

The Salasar Balaji Temple in Akola, Maharashtra, is a relatively recent establishment, inaugurated in 2014 in the Ganga Nagar area. This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, also known as Balaji, and serves as a spiritual centre for devotees in the region. The temple complex spans approximately 2 lakh square feet and features a beautifully maintained garden, offering a serene environment for devotees.

The Akola temple was constructed over a period of about two years using bricks, stones, cement, lime mortar, and white marble. The sanctum sanctorum, prayer hall (Sabha Mandap), and circulatory paths are adorned with artistic works of gold and silver. Silver is also used for the vestibule, doors, and worship utensils, while the main gate features carvings in white marble.
