About Sankta Devi Mandir Lakhimpur
The Sankta Devi Mandir is located in the city of Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Sankata devi. It is known as one of the four devi temples in the city. The temple is believed to be more than 1000 years old. The temple was built by Lord Krishna after the Mahabharat war when he was travelling to Pashupatinath to fulfil the wish of Goddess Rukmani.
