The Shore Temple is an ancient temple located on the shore of the Bay of Bengal in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. The temple was built in the 7th century by Pallavas during the rule of Narasimhavarman. It is one of the ancient temples in South India constructed in the Dravidian style and describes the royal taste of the Pallava dynasty. It has been ranked as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram.
