Kaal Bhairav temple is located at Kathmandu Durbar Square, Nepal. Kaal Bhairav temple is dedicated to a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. The idol of Lord Bhairav is in an open area; the idol is 12 feet tall and was sculpted in the 6th century. People beleives that whi would lie down in fron t of the Lord Bhaiav cam attain the moksha. Bhairava Ashtami or Kaal Bhairava Ashtami is the major festival that celebrated at Kaal Bhairav, Kathmandu.
