Paduka Vithoba Temple, also known as Padmalaya Vithoba Temple, is a major temple located at Pandharpur in Solapur district of Maharashtra. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vitthal (a form of Vishnu) and his wife Rukmini. The temple is located in the holy city of Pandharpur, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Maharashtra. Pasodya Vithoba Temple Pune Shahrachya Budhwada Pethet, N.C. Kelkar is a historical Hindu temple located at Roadwar. This temple is famous for the idols of Vithoba (Vitthal) and Rukmini. The architecture of the temple bears the imprint of the Peshwai period, which includes the shikhara, assembly hall and sanctum sanctorum. The history of the Pasodya Vithoba temple goes back to the 14th century. Or there would have been a tree of Eastern Ketchungya in the area of the temple, due to which the place would be known as "Nivadungya Vithoba". The exact date of establishment of the temple is not certain, but in 1810, there is no mention of the temple in the memory of the sacred temple in 1810. Only, in the survey map of Pune city of 1872, instead of a Jagi temple, Ghumti, Par and a pond are clearly shown, due to which it is suggested that the temple may have been established during the English period.
