Shree Shakti Peeth Idana Mata Temple

About Shree Shakti Peeth Idana Mata Temple

Located in the Aravalli hills in Bambora village, about 60 km from Udaipur city, this temple is believed that even patients suffering from paralysis get cured after coming to the court of the goddess. Local people believe that with the grace of the goddess, all their wishes are fulfilled. The most special thing about the temple is that the idol of the goddess here takes a fire bath itself. Two to three times a month, flames suddenly rise around the idol of the goddess, which are 10 to 20 feet high. During this time, the offerings, chunri and other materials offered burn to ashes, but the idol of the goddess and the chunri offered on it remain safe. The structure of the temple is like an open square, where a garland of tridents is placed behind the idol of the goddess. Devotees offer tridents when their wishes are fulfilled. There is no permanent priest here; everyone is considered to be the servant of the goddess. There is no system of distribution of prasad in the temple, and the prasad is distributed in the temple itself.
