He was inspired by Baba Shyam and decided to establish a grand temple in Alambazar, Kolkata. The temple trust acquired the land for the temple in 2008. After the land was secured, Skilled craftsmen from Rajasthan worked on the temple using Makrana marble and traditional Rajasthani craftsmanship. After the construction was completed, a series of religious ceremonies were performed from 30 January to 2 February 2020. During these ceremonies, divine idol of Baba Shyam was lovingly established. Ekadashi and Baras
• Ekadashi Kirtan: Held on Ekadashi days from 5:30 PM onward.
• Baras / Dwadashi: On the day of Baras (the twelfth day of the lunar fortnight, immediately following Ekadashi in the Khatu Shyam devotional calendar), the temple remains open for the full day to devotees without the usual afternoon closure.
• Baras Jyot: Available for all devotees from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
