This temple is situated in the middle of the Mahabharata mountain range at an altitude of about 4,500 feet, which presents a wonderful confluence of natural beauty and religious faith. Local people believe that Goddess Supadevi fulfils the wishes of the devotees. Apart from Goddess Bhagwati, the temple also has idols of Ganesha, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Shiva. The Supa Deurali Mandir was established in Vikram Samvat 1600 (1543 AD) by King Vishwa Pal Shah of Khanchikot in memory of his daughter Suvarna Kumari. During the journey after marriage, the bride committed suicide, after which an unknown disease spread in the village.
