About Shri Dwarkadhish Temple Kankroli

The Shri Dwarkadhish Temple os located in the city of Kankroli, Rajasthan, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Orginally this temple was in Gokul but due to Mughal rule temples were threatened with frequent invasions. So, Goswami Girdharji took the deity with him to Ahmedabad. Due to problems there as well, he was invited to Mehwar in the year 1671. Than Maharana Raj Singh granted a village for the construction of the temple.
