Sri Goravanahalli Mahalakshmi Devi Temple is a Hindu temple located in Goravanahalli village in Tumkur district of Karnataka, dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi. In the early 1900s, a poor man Abbaiya received the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi and started doing charity. His brother Thotadappa also joined him in this work. One night the goddess appeared in Thotadappa's dream and ordered to build a temple. After this, Thotadappa built the temple and started worship. There was a time in the history of the temple when it was closed from 1910 to 1925. In 1925, a devotee named Kamalamma saw the condition of the temple and started worship.
