Shri Gupteswar Shiva Temple is an honorable cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in southern Odisha in Koraput near Jaipur. A respected cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is Shri Gupteswar Shiva Temple. The temple is located in the Tejashwi Gupteshwar Forest Sanctuary, at a height of about 500 meters, on top of a limestone ridge surrounded by thick Eastern Ghats forests. Climbing around 200-300 steps through the forest, there is a naturally formed shivalinga in the temple.

The name of the temple, Gupteshwar, which is translated into "hidden God," discovers the finding of a shivling in the cave. Hindu mythology believes that Lord Rama, during his exile, worshiped Shiva. For nearby tribal communities, including Parojus, Cond, and Gadabas, which have honored the cave for centuries, the temple also has great spiritual significance.

The temple is an important pilgrimage, especially during the holy months of hearing and Mahashivaratri, and is rich in legends despite the lack of wide historical items. Because of its powerful spiritual aura, some also think of it as Shakti Peeth.
