About Shri Jugal Kishore Ji Temple
Shri Jugal Kishore Ji Temple is one of the oldest temples of Vrindavan, It was built in 1627 A.D. Akbar visited Vrindavan in 1570 A.D. and he gave permission to build four temples and that are Shri Madana Mohana Ji Temple, Shri Govind Dev Ji Temple, Shri Gopinatha Ji Temple and Shri Jugal Kishore Ji Temple. But later Aurangzeb attacked three out of these four temples. Only Jugal Kishore Temple's original deity remained in Vrindavan.
