About Shri Maa Jayantee Temple
this temple is located at nartiang village, west jaintia hills, Meghalaya about 65km from Shillong. this temple is dedicated to ma durga. legend says goddess sati left thigh fell here. this temple is built around 600 years ago by the jaintia kings when nartiang was their summer capital. durga puja is the main festivals celebrated here.
