About Shri Mahakali Temple
The Shri Mahakali Temple is located in the city of Chandrapur, Maharastra, India. The temple is dedicated to Ma Kali. There are two idols of Ma kal in the temple. The main idol is a standing figure adorned with cloths of red, yellow and orange hues. It is accompanied by a Shiv Ling. The other idol lies in a horizontal posture. To reach this idol, devotees have to go through a kind of tunnel that goes below the ground level.
