Shri Renuka Mata Shakti Peeth Mandir, located in Mahur, Maharashtra, is a revered Shakti Peetha dedicated to Goddess Renuka, mother of Parashurama. It's one of the three and a half Shakti Peethas in Maharashtra. Legend says Renuka's head fell here after she was beheaded. The temple is situated on a hilltop and requires climbing steps to reach. A major fair is held here on Vijayadashami. The temple is also associated with the story of Parashurama and the Kamadhenu cow.
