The Vadakkunnathan temple is the first temple which was created by Lord Parshuram. the temple is 1000 years old. According to archaeological findings, the Vadakkunathan temple is one of the oldest temples in South India and the largest temple in Kerala dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva.
