Sri Dharbaranyeswara Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and located in a village, Thirunallar, in the Karaikal district of Puducherry. A five-tiered gopuram is the primary entrance to the roughly two-acre temple complex. The most famous shrines at the temple are those of Dharbaranyeswarar, Saniswararan, Somaskandar and his spouse, Praneswari Amman. The temple's largest celebration is Mahasivarathri, which takes place in the month of Chittirai. March and April are the best times to visit this temple.
