About Sri Kaileswaram Temple
Sri Kaileswram temple is dedicated to Lords shiva, The supreme deity of Hinduism. Kaileswaram is Located in the neighborhood of Pettah, Sri Kaleshwaram Kovil is often confused with the nearby Sri Kailavasanathan Swamy Devasthanam Kovil.Decorated with intricate sculptures and carvings of Hindu gods and goddesses, the majestic blue roof of the temple rises 80 feet above the ground. In its sacred grounds, devotees also pay homage to Lord Ganesha, the son of Shiva, who adds to the divine aura of the temple.
