About Sri Nallapochamma Temple Hyderabad

Sri Nalla Pochamma Temple, located in Nataraja Nagar near Barkatpura, Hyderabad, is an iconic temple dedicated to Goddess Nalla Pochamma - the fiery village guardian goddess of Telangana. Known for its spiritual aura and deep traditions, the temple is culturally significant, especially during the Bonalu festival when thousands of devotees visit to offer Bonam and seek the Goddess’ blessings. The temple follows the traditional Telangana style of architecture and welcomes devotees daily from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm and then from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Aarti is performed twice a day - morning Aarti at around 6:00 am and evening Aarti at 6:30 pm. During Bonalu and other special occasions, the temple witnesses vibrant celebrations including Ghatam processions and folk rituals. At the time of darshan, devotees are given prasads like laddu, pulihora and vada. Photography is allowed in the outer premises of the temple, making it a popular spot to capture spiritual moments. Located just 10 minutes away from the Kacheguda Railway Station and near the Narayanguda Metro Station, the temple can be easily reached by bus, auto or metro. Sri Nalla Pochamma Temple is an important centre of devotion and cultural heritage in the heart of Hyderabad.
