About Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra Manimandir (ISKCON Temple Imphal)
the temple is situated at sangaiprou,airport road, Imphal, Manipur. this temple is dedicted to lord krishna and his consort radha. the temple is established in 1977 by the his holiness srila bhaktisvarupa damodara swami sripad maharaj. the main temple building often called the manimandir or jewelled temple was officially opened to the public on November 21,2007. the temple features a unique dome-shaped roof with a natural lighting system that uses imported French gems to illuminate the central prayer hall (sankirtan area) with an enchanting spectrum of colours. Janmashtami, Ratha Yatra (Kang), Radha Ashtami are the major festivals celebrated here.
