About Taman Ayun Temple
Taman Ayun Temple, also known as Pura Taman Ayun, Indonesia's Taman Ayun Temple is located in Mengwi Village, Bandung Regency, Bali Island, Indonesia. It is one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali. The temple was built in the 17th century by King Tjokerda Sakti Blambangan and is considered to be the temple of the royal family of Mengwi. The temple is known for its intricate architecture and beautiful gardens and was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2012. According to Hinduism, the temple is used to worship gods and ancestors. It represents centuries-old Balinese traditions and customs. The main Bali Tridev i.e. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are worshiped in the temple.
