It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in 1758 A.D., Shivling of Tarkeshwar Mahadev is made of Black stone. It has a 9 diameter and every Monday is the day of special worship of Lord Shiva. The temple celebrates Maha Shivratri, Diwali, Annakuta and Nrisingh Leela.
