Udiyannoor Devi Temple is one of the ancient Temples in South India. It is located at Maruthumkuzhi in Thiruvananthapuram District Kerala. The temple celebrates festivals during the Malayalam month of Medam. This is an occasion when the entire city is decorated. The streets are made colourful on the festival days with tender coconut Petals and plantain leaf stalks also used for street decoration. The Udiyanoor Devi Temple is 1300 years old and is among the very few temples that face to the north.
