Vaikom Mahadeva Temple is one of the most ancient and sacred Shiva temples in Kerala, located at Vaikom in Kottayam district. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Vaikkathappan) and is considered one of the important Shiva temples along with Ettumanoor and Kaduthuruthy.
