The Vishwanath Temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Guptkashi in Uttarakhand, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The tower has been designed with a wooden framework and the temple is constructed from local stones. In fact, it resembles a lot the Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi. It was in the holy Vishwanath Temple that Lord Shiva asked Parvati to marry him. Maha Shivratri is an important festival for this temple.

A large number of devotees mainly visit Vishwanath Temple on Maha Shivratri, which is an important festival for the temple. Also, April to June are the best times to visit the temple.
