Hanuman Garhi is a 10th-century temple of Hanuman in Uttar Pradesh, India. Located in Ayodhya, it is one of the most important temples in the city along with other temples such as Nageshwar Nath. The temple houses Hanuman's mother, Anjani, with a young Hanuman sitting in her Positioned. This holy site is under the charge of the Bairagi Mahants of Ramanandi Sampradaya and Nirvani Akhara.

Shyamanand saved an idol from the Mughals and threw it in the Saryu River. The idol stayed there for 220 years. In 1748 A.D. A Brahmin from Maharashtra found it while bathing and brought it to the Kale Ram temple.

It is believed that the Bhawan was gifted by Kaikei to Devi Sita after her marriage. The main idols of Lord Ram and Devi Sita are installed in Garbhgrih. Kanak Bhawan is the Golden palace of Lord Ram. It is believed that the Bhawan was rebuilt by Lord Krishna in Dvapar Yug later, this Bhawan was renovated by Vrish Bhanu Kunwari.
