Temples in Pali

The Om Banna Temple is located in the city of Pali, Rajasthan. On 5 May 1988, Om Banna was travelling from the town of Bangdi near Sanderao of Pali, to Chotila, when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree. He died on the spot whereas the motorcycle fell into a nearby ditch. Legend says that the motorcycle kept returning to the same ditch. It thwarted every attempt by police to keep it at the local police station; the motorcycle always returned to the same spot before dawn. This came to be seen as a miracle by local population, and they began to worship the "Bullet Bike."

The Parshuram Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was built by Lord Parashurama, who is known as one of the avatar of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that the temple was built between the mountains by just a blow from the axe of Lord Parashurama.

Sonana Khetlaji is a temple of God Khetlaji located in the village Sonana of Pali district, Rajasthan. Temple located in Sonana is an old temple from where Shri Sonana Khetlaji has moved to village nearby name Sarangwas. Shri Sonana Khetlaji was founded around 800 years ago as the temple is Jagir of local Brahmins Rajpurohit. The temple is surrounded by a beautiful Rose garden. The best time to visit is during the Aarti, Churma is the main Prasad offered to the deity which is distributed among the devotees after the prayer. It is believed that the prasad should be consumed within the campus of the temple and cannot be taken outside the temple. Festivals and fairs are also celebrated like Chaitra Sudi ekam a fair held for two days after the Holi in honour of Shri Khetlaji.

Nimbeshwar Mahadev Mandir is located in Pali district of Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is also known as Nimbo Ka Nath Mahadev temple. As according to Hindu mythology, the mother of Pandavas, Kunti worshipped the Hindu deity Lord Shiva and spent most of her time at Lord Shiva temple. It is also known for festivals and fairs like Shivratri and Baisakhi Purnima.
