ShivShakti is the holy union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti. Lord Shiva is the God of the Gods, and Shakti is the mother of the sacred force. It is believed that purusha sukta and shrisukta is most powerful ways to worship Lord shiva and Goddess Parvati.
At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking Lord Shiva is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then things like milk, Ganga jal and Flower are used to abhishek on Lord Shiva, along with mantras chanted by the pujari. Than Rudra sukta 5 path, Shri sukt 1 path, and Rudra sukt 1 path is done by the pujariji. As last bhog is offered to Lord Shiva and Arti is done puja is completed, and blessings are taken by the devotees.
