Lord Shiva has many names like Mahadev, Shankar, Neelkanth and Rudra. Rudra is most famous name of Lord Shiva. Rudra form represents the Lord shiva's aggressive, furious and destructive nature. "Rudra" is one of the famous name of Lord Shiva. Rudrabhishek puja is a ritual dedicate to Lord Shiva. In this ritual God Mahadev is worshipped in his Rudra form. The Rudra form of Lord Shiva represents his fierce and powerful aspect. The term "Rudra" symbolizes Lord Shiva in his fierce form and "Abhishek" refers to offering. Rudrabhishek puja involves offering sacred liquids and chanting mantras.
At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Than invoking Lord Shiva is done with mantras and prayers by the pujari. Than things like milk, Ganga Jal and flowers are used to Abhishek on Lord Shiva along with mantras chanted by the pujari. At last, arti is done by the pujari and blessings are taken by the devotees.
