first devotee has to take Sankalp with stating their name,gotra and reason for the puja. then lord ganesh is worshiped to remove obstacles and then kalash is established. then all nine planets are invoked through specific Vedic mantras and devotee has to offer flowers, fruits and grain. a sacred fire ritual is performed where offering are made into the havan kund whith chanting the mantras. puja ends with final offering means purnahuti. in last arti is done and prasad is shared to the devotees.
