Mamleshwar Temple, also known as Amreshwar Temple, is an ancient and highly revered temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated on the southern bank of the sacred Narmada River in Mamleshwar Temple, directly opposite the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. According to Hindu tradition, a pilgrimage to Omkareshwar is considered complete only after offering prayers at both Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar temples. Devotees visit this temple to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for peace, prosperity, good health, and spiritual growth.
