Joshimath also known as Jyotimath, is a town in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It is an important pilgrimage centre and serves as the winter seat for lord Badri, Whose idol is brought down from Badrinath to Vasudeva temple at Joshimath during the winter months. the town is situated at the height of 1,890 meters (6,200 feet) in the Garhwal Himalayas and is a gateway to several Himalayan mountain climbing expeditions, trekking trails, and pilgrimage centres.
The Joshimath Darshan yatra includes 5 Narsingh Mandir, Nav Durga Mandir, Shankar Acharya Mandir, Joteshwar Mahadev Mandir, and Raj Rajeshwari Mandir. Pujariji will take the devotees to this temple by E-rickshaw. Then darshan of all the temples will be done. The information, history and significance of the temple will be shared by the pujari to the devotees.
This is a standard darshan, not a V.I.P. darshan service. The fee covers the Dakshina for the Tirth Purohit, but does not include any puja services. The Tirth Purohit will only facilitate the darshan of Narsingh ji and other Temple.
