Jwaladevi temple is located in kandra Himachal Pradesh. Jwalamukhi temple is dedicated to "Goddess of Light". Jwala devi temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. The word Jwala is a sanskrit Jwala means "Flame". It is beleived that Goddess sati's tongue was fallen at the place where Jwaladevi temple is located. The flames represent the nine forms of Goddess Durga - Mahakali, Annapurna, Chandi, Hinglaj, Vindhya Vasini, Mahalakshmi, Saraswati, Ambika and Anji Devi. Visiting this temple helps to cleanse the soul of the devotees.
