About

Manorath puja is a religious puja. The term "manorath" means "desire" or "wishes".  The puja is performed with the intent of seeking the fulfilment of desire and aspiration. Typically, the ritual involves offering prayers, flowers, and other items to the Goddess, and this puja is done by the pujari ji with the chanting of Vedic mantras.

At first, Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotee. Then, Lord Ganesha is invoked to remove any obstacle or issues that can occur in the puja. Then pujariji chants specific vedic mantras or prayers. At last, the pujariji do the Arti and prasad is distributed to the devotees.
