Mukhimath is a holy pilgrimage site dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. This arti is performed on the banks of river Ganga in Mukhimath, It is dedicated to devi Ganga. Gangotri is the origin place of the river Ganga. It is one of the holy places among the Char Dams. Ganga River is one of the most sacred rivers. The worship of Maa Ganga is one of the most important rituals.

At first, the Sankalp will be taken in the name of the devotees. The pujari ji invokes devi Ganga. Arter then The Ganga Arti is performed with flowers, fruits, water etc and chanting of mantras. then the arti is done.
